Sugar Free Raisin Bars

Ingredients:


1 C. raisins
1/2 C. water
1/4 C. margarine
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 1/4 C all purpose flour

Directions

1. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the raisins, margarine, water,  cinnamon and nutmeg until margarine is melted.  Continue cooking mixture for 3 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients. Spread into a greased 8-in square baking dish.

2.  Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until raisin bars are lightly browned.


This is a super easy dessert recipe with very little ingredients.  With hardly any time to prepare, these sugar free raisin bars only takes about 40 minutes which includes baking time.  You can substitute agave nectar for any sweetener of your choice.
