Sugar free frosting recipes can be made to be tasty as well.  If you're finding it hard to cut the sugar from your diet there are some ways you can help to curb that craving.  First, itis ok to say no when offered something with sugar.  You'll find that many people will try to pressure you or that you may feel like you have to eat it because everyone else is but you have the final say and you choose whether or not to put it in your mouth.  Second, get rid of the mental attachment to sugar and the need for it.  Realizing tha you won't starve to death if you don't eat it will help.  If you feel the need, go for a walk instead.  Next, try to manage your stress.  High stress can lead to increased need for sugar cravings and blood sugar.  If you look at your past and when you ate the most sugar, there may be a pattern with your emotions and stressful reactions.  If you try to control your stress then you may be able to control your cravings better.  Next thing to try doing different is go to bed earlier.  This is especially important if you notice that you crave sugar the most late at night. Staying up late confuses the body and gives off the wrong signals.  Next don't get down on yourself and don't beat yourself up if you do one day have a slice of cake or some ice cream.  It's ok to enjoy them from time to time but just don't make it a staple of your life when it does happen to occur.  Instead try making one of our sugar free recipes to help that curb the desire to eat somethin with sugar.  Try not to focus on the mistakes because it will most likely drive you to eat more.  Lastly and most importantly....enjoy life!  If we move and eat the way we are supposed to then usually your happiness and health will follow.  You'll be able to smile knowing that you are in control of your health.
