Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
10 frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
6 packets of Splenda
1/4 C. plain yogurt (make sure there is no added sugar)
1/4 C. milk
Directions
Pour milk and yogurt into a blender. Then add the Splenda. Cut up the banana and add. Cut up the frozen strawberries so that they are pretty small pieces as larger pieces take longer to blend. Blend all ingredients on high for about 5 minutes then serve.
**A helpful hint when making smoothies is to place any liquid ingredients in the blender first. If the frozen ingredients are first then it's a lot harder to get all of the smoothie ingredients to the bottom of the blender.
This is definitely a really simple and quick way to get a refreshing dessert while still keeping it healthy. You can do variations of fruit and even sweetener and it's super easy to always end up with something you like.
