Peanut Butter Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Ingredients:


6 tbs. peanut butter
6 tbs.  Agave nectar
6 oz. sugar free chocolate chips
1/4 c. Splenda
4.5 oz. pretzels (nuggets work well)

Directions

In a saucepan cook the peanut butter, Agave nectar, and Splenda until just boiling.  Make sure to stir continuously and don't let the peanut butter mixture burn.  Once boiling, remove it from the heat and mix pretzels into the mixture until they are fully coated.  Place pretzels on wax paper and then use your fingers to press the peanut butter mixture onto pretzels making sure to fully coat.  While cooling, melt chocolate chips in the microwave.  When peanut butter is fully fool on the pretzels, place them in a bowl and then coat with the melted chocolate.  stir until coated and then remove and place on wax paper.  Let them fully cool before eating.  You may place the peanut butter chocolate covered pretzels in the refridgerator or freezer to speed up the cooling time. 

**Please note:  You may use your favorite peanut butter but I recommend either freshly ground or the non-hydrogenated kind with no added sugar.
