Peanut Butter Bar Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups sugar free shortbread cookies
2 cups splenda
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups sugar free chocolate chips
4 tablespoons peanut butter
Directions
1. Crumble shortbread cookies using a food processor.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, cookie crumbs, Splenda, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
3. In a metal bowl over boiling water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips along with the 4 tbs. peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth.
4. Spread mixture over the prepared crust and refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
