Dried Cranberries Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bag of fresh whole cranberries
1 C. of artificial sweetner like Splenda or Equal
1/2 C. of water.
Directions
1. Dissolve the sweetener in water and pour over the cranberries and cook in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Cook the cranberries for about four to five minutes while stirring occasionally. They should start to pop.
3. Cool the cranberries for about 10 minutes, and then squish them down with the back of a large spoon or bottom of a glass.
4. Spread the cranberries on a large baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
5. Put bakin sheet in the oven to dehydrate the cranberries at 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
6. Bake up to eight hours to dry the cranberries, depending on whether you want them to be soft and chewy or bake longer if you want them on the crispier side.
This dried cranberries recipe is super easy to make. They are a healthier alternative to the sugar filled cranberries you can buy at the grocery store and you have the freedom to choose whichever artificial sweetener you prefer.
