Ingredients:
1/2 large head cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles (chicken flavor or original, crushed
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/4 c. sliced almonds
1/2 cup canola oil
3 tbs. Splenda
3 tbs. distilled white vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
Directions
1. Toss together the cabbage, noodles, sunflower seeds, and almonds.
2. Whisk together the ramen flavor packet, oil, Splenda and vinegar.
3. Pour mixture over cabbage and stir to evenly coat.
4. Chill and serve.
* The great thing about this cabbage ramen salad is that it is very versatile and you can try adding many different ingredients based on what you like best. You can try adding green onions to give it a little color. Adding apple cider vinegar also gives it a little more flavor than just white vinegar but just use whatever you have! You can also experiment with different types of vegetable oils or leave out the sunflower seeds but it seems like it always tastes good regardless.
