Ingredients:
2 1/2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup Splenda
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk
Directions
Cream together the butter and Splenda together until well mixed. Add eggs to mixture and beat well. Add flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and milk. Mix well until a batter forms. Spoon into greased muffin tins, about 1/3 full. Bake for about twenty minutes at 350 degrees. While hot, remove baked doughnuts dip in 3/4 cup melted unsalted butter and then roll in 3/4 cup Splenda and 1 tsp. cinnamon mixture.
** These sugar free doughnuts are different than your normal doughnuts. They are baked rather than fried and thus they are missing the hole but you'll find that they are different yet delicious. When mixing the doughnut batter you can substitue Agave Nectar rather than Splenda but either way they are a tasty and sweet snack.
